Public Service Commission Issues Corrigendum for Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024.

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an important update regarding the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024. This comes following the issuance of S.O 539 on November 9, 2024, by the General Administration Department, which revises the eligibility criteria and extends the application deadline.

Revised Age Eligibility

The corrigendum modifies the age limits for various categories as of January 1, 2024:1.

  1. Open Merit (OM): Maximum age limit is 35 years (born not earlier than January 1, 1989, and not later than January 1, 2003).

2. Reserved Category & In-Service Candidates: Maximum age limit is 37 years (born not earlier than January 1, 1987).

3. Physically Challenged Candidates: Maximum age limit is 38 years (born not earlier than January 1, 1986).

Extended Application Deadline

The last date for submitting the online application form for the J&K Combined Competitive Exam 2024 has been extended to December 2, 2024. Applicants are required to complete their applications, including the payment of requisite fees through online mode, by this deadline.
